2nd grade - School for the Deaf

Second grade, in the School for the Deaf, has been working really hard these last few weeks of the year!  Students dived into learning about extreme weather and have recently started learning about the summer Olympics.

In the coming weeks, students will be looking into how the ancient and modern Olympics are the same and different.  Then they will be researching a variety of sports and athletes who compete in the summer Olympics. Lastly, if the weather is nice, we will be having a small CSDB Olympics within 2nd grade.

In math they have been focusing on telling time with both digital and analog clocks.  Within the Olympic unit we will be applying how to measure different distances to help with our runs, jumps, and throws. We are really finishing out a wonderful year with some fun!!
