ASL Community Classes

 

ASL classes are held for the community and individuals interested in learning American Sign Language (ASL) basics.  The classes are held in eight week sessions, three times a year:  fall, winter and spring.  Each session meets once a week in the evening.

2022-2023 Community ASL Classes

Fall Session Starts September 13th, 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m.   THIS CLASS IS FULL

Winter Session Starts January 10th, 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m.   BEGINING I AND II ARE FULL

Spring Session Starts April 4th, 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. THIS CLASS IS FULL

 

Class Descriptions

Beginning I:  no prior American Sign Language (ASL) training or no basic ASL vocabulary

Beginning II:  produce and understand fingerspelling and have basic ASL knowledge

Beginning III:  basic ASL conversational skills
