The Outreach ASL team has been busy this New Year! Through a collaboration with the School for the Deaf, we are currently offering a total of 9 evening classes each week for a total of 78 community participants and 17 family members of current CSDB on-campus students. On Saturday, February 4, 2023, we will host a full-day ASL Immersion for Professionals workshop--Levels 1, 2, and 3--with current registration at 36 participants. In addition, weekly classes for CSDB staff are underway again, and our instructors have begun to teach a series of classes for case managers at the Springs Rescue Mission to assist with communication with their Deaf clientele.
