Citizenship Lessons

Students in the School for the Deaf Civics classes have been learning about what it means to be a good citizen. The class is covering social justice topics and current events from the perspective of the Deaf community.  How do world events affect us?  What are our struggles and what struggles do other groups face?  Also, we have enjoyed lessons in life skills like writing checks, using a bank account, and learning how to use technology such as video relay services.
