Dia de Muertos - Employability Center

Dia de Muertos, ls known as the Day of the Dead, is a celebration that originated in Mexico where families welcome back the souls of their dearly departed relatives. How does this relate to CSDB?! The Bridges to Life program will be having its own Day of the Dead celebration! Angie Brown and Janey Heard, teachers in the Employability Center, organized the BtL students to learn and celebrate this wonderful holiday. Learning about different cultures and celebrations is an important part of being a person. It gives insight into how other people
celebrate around the world. Students made tamales, sugar skull cookies, a taco bar, and mangonadas on November 2nd , in the Stone building.
