Preschool February Fun!

Written by Ali Hamar, Preschool Teacher of the Deaf

Students, in the Preschool, had a fun February where they learned to make bubbles with soap and water in a big cup. They used a straw to blow air inside and make as many bubbles as possible. This was one of their favorite lessons.

In another science lesson, the students learned two of their senses: smell and taste. They smelled and tasted lemon juice squeezed from lemons, cinnamon, black pepper, vinegar, kisses, and salty pretzels.

Then we celebrated Valentine’s Day with a party! Students were thrilled to have their parents join the festivities. Teachers read a Valentine's Day book, “Froggy’s Valentine Kiss”, followed by lots of sweets and activities!
