Bridges to Life students, in the Employability Center, have been learning what it takes to work in the business world. This year, transition students are working vigilantly behind the scenes and in our new campus wide P.R.I.D.E. store. Students are gaining retail and business skills through this new opportunity available to them. Some of the skills taught and learned through hands-on experiences include organization, stocking shelves, taking inventory, creating spreadsheets, counting money, communication skills, team collaboration, learning to read a work schedule, displaying leadership skills, maintaining a store, supervising and so much more!
