The Early Education ASL Program through CSDB Outreach Programs was delighted to have SKI-HI Institute provide a 3-day training in August 2023 to 9 participants , who reside throughout Colorado. This curriculum includes teaching ASL and visual communication skills, sharing information about Deaf Culture and Being Deaf, and introduction to famous Deaf people. The participants will use this program to provide families with information and support they need to raise Deaf and Hard of Hearing children. We are excited for the new program through CSDB for families and children, ages birth-three years, who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
