Trader Joe's

The elementary student body, in the School for the Blind, went on a field trip to Trader Joe’s. Educational goals were to help students understand the typical layout of grocery stores for navigation purposes as well as learning to categorize which items are found in which section of the grocery store.

Our tour guide was fantastic and incredibly accommodating. The students LOVED this trip!  They unanimously agreed that getting to go inside the BIG freezer was their favorite part of the trip.  They said they know what it’s like to be a popsicle😊
